Watching Paint Dry
Lucian Freud died today
Folks around here, they
all do say
In painting nudes with
a palette knife
Caught in the act, by
his trouble and strife
She, not liking the
brassy lass
Spread-eagled on his pinkish canvas
By his balls, took a
grip, for his last trip
Was it an act of God,
or a Freudian Slip ?
Canvas and oils fade
away
